TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, you are required to report your address after returning from a stay in another province. However, specific requirements may vary by location, so it's advisable to check with the local Immigration Office in your area for precise guidelines.

Vincent Vanmilingen, I didn't read all the comments so forgive me if I missed it.

What immigration office would you be using? <- meaning seeing as thailand is 513+ thousand square kilometers in size how about narrowing it down a bit so you can get a real answer ;)

Vincent Vanmilingen I see a visit to the Petchaburi immigration office in your future to find out whether they're hard core on a TM.30 form or not.

And the only one who can tell you if you need to report or not is the Immigration Office in your area. Every Immigration Office enforce in different ways. So it is only confusing if you read stories about total different area's and don't ask by your self at the Immigration Office in your area.

It is totally immigration office specific on whether you need to do a TM.30 form or not. Some are hard core about it and some don't care at all
