The question is not if I must, but rather if I even can. Google results only talk about every other kind of visa, but not a re-entry on the METV. I just want to make sure, that they will give me a re-entry permit.

Thanks Chris. Malaysia is easiest, but Vietnam/Cambodia er much shorter flights. But you are right. I wil probably go to KL then, just to be safe.

That's what I thought. I hoped I could just stay in the transit area without going throug immigration. I also wanted to make it as quick as possible, so I can just catch the return flight asap.

guess KL is the safest option then. Thanks

If I have the boarding passes, that will usually not be a problem at Thai Immigration that I just flew out a couple of hours?

Inwiefern falsch? Er will wissen ob er zurück in sein Heimatland muss nach den 90 Tagen und ich hab gesagt, dass ich dafür immer nach Vietnam fliege. Und da brauch ich kein Visum zum einreisen, wenn weniger als 2 Wochen

I am talking about Vietnam, not Thailand. They guy already has a ME Visa for Thailand and is aking about leaving Thailand when his 90 days are up.

I also go to Vietnam for that. As a German I get 2 weeks without visa. You should check if that applies to you as well. Flights are cheap as well. And I like the food much better than KL ;)
