90 Day Reporting on Ed Visa?

I just got my first extension on m ED visa and was wondering if I need to do a 90-day reporting as well? I have not left the country since getting my ED visa.

The school didn't say anything about that.

TLDR : Answer Summary
When you receive your first extension on your ED visa, you are required to complete a 90-day reporting. This report is due 89 days after the date you applied for your extension. Some immigration offices may automatically handle the first 90-day report for you when you get your extension, and a note indicating when your next report is due may be attached to your passport. If you did not receive this note, you should check with the immigration office to confirm if your report has been processed.

@Enr***
, nope, what ever day you applied for your FIRST ED extension starts the 90 day count down and your 90 day report is due 89 days from that date.

SO on your current extension of stay what is the date you applied for it

OUCH, ALL extensions inside the country are 1900baht :O

Be that as it may your 90 day report is due 89 days from the 16th or Wed Nov 13

I did in Samui by myself. I went on a Friday and they said I have to pick it up on Monday. That's why it's 3 days.

The stamp is dated from August 16th

I paid 3000 baht for the extension

@Enr***
, what date is the extension stamp dated from? And what immigration office are you using that takes 3 days to issue an extension on an ED visa?

Did you go to the immigration office and pay 1900baht for your extension or did you just give you passport to your school and pay more than the extension price for the stamp you got?

Gotcha. I applied on August 16th and got the extension on August 19th. So reporting had to be done in 90 days from August 16th?
Tod *********
They usually put a paper in your passport when you get your first extension that says when your first 90 day report is due. Sometimes they staple it under the TM6 departure card

It looks like this.

Great. So for now I don't have to do a reporting, because it was my first extension. Only after the second extension I have to do that. Did I understand that correctly?
Tod *********
@Enrico *******
then your 90 day report is due 89 days from the date your extension application was turned in.

thanks. No, I didn't get that paper. What now?
Tod *********
did you get that when you got your first extension on the ED visa?

Everyone that stay more than 90 days should report to immigration otherwise they will charge you next time you do your ED extension. I pay for 1900 or 900 baht (I forgot) because Im not aware for this 90 days report
Ryu ****
@Robert ******
i mean when I forgot to report the 90 days. They charged me 900 baht or 1900 baht I forgot.
Robert *******
You paid 1.900 thb for your Extension of Stay and the 90 day report is free of charge.
Patrik ********
Yep, usually, at least in Bangkok, the immigration will do your first 90 days report together with the extension of stay. Check for that paper that Robert posted.

If the school did the extension for you they would of done it also

I had to do my report 6 months later i got stamped into the kingdom on an ED visa. There should be a little note (on a separate paper) with a date in your passport.
Renato ********
@Robert ******
anyway that was my case. I hope it helped for the person who posted
Robert *******
Great service, without asking Immigration did your first 90 day report for you and told you, the next time you have to take care yourself and you got a note, not as your first comment that there should be a little note. Thanks for the update.

@Robert ******
yes i got stamped in for 90 days thats true. At the first extension they gave me a note when should i do my 90 day report which was exactly the same when i should have do my 2nd extension which was 180 days after i got stamped in to the country on an ED visa.
Robert *******
you got stamped in for 90 days, not for 6 months. And when you visited immigration, nobody asked, told or said anything and no little note was given.
Robert *******
I guess you came into Thailand using a Single Entry Non Immigrant ED Visa and got 90 days of stay at the border or airport. Now you applied for your first Extension of Stay, SOME immigration offices, NOT ALL, try to keep your visits limited and make automatically the first 90 day report for you and also the 90 day Extension of Stay. Some offices notify you with this small piece of paper attached into your passport when you have to do your next report:

I didn't get that paper. Any way to check if the report was done?
Robert *******
The answer I gave was directed to this question and this situation. But that seems to bring confusion, because other people in other situations and with other visa suddenly think the stamps in their passport all became the same stamps as the OP. No problem i deleted it and will try again.
Björn ******
I have to do the 90 days report tm.47. I also need a copy of the tm.30 of my landlord. So confusing. 😩

what's so confusing about it?
