Hey guys. I need to get a new entry on my multiple entry visa and looking for the quickest way.

I was thinking about flying to either Vietnam, Camcodia or Malaysia. Is is possible to take my return flights on either of these airports, without going throug immigration, basically like transit? Is it depending on the flight?

Usually I make it a few days trip, but now I just want to do it in as few hours as possible.

TLDR : Answer Summary
To quickly renew a multiple entry visa for Thailand, flying to Malaysia is recommended as it typically doesn’t require a visa for many nationalities. You can transit without going through immigration by keeping your boarding passes. However, check transit rules for Vietnam and Cambodia, as they may require visas depending on your nationality. It's advised to keep your travel plans clear with airport immigration to avoid issues.

, Malaysia is the easiest way and immigration at airport is smooth, just get your fingerprints and that's it. If you want to make a visa, then just go to Penang and straight to Jim's Place at Chulia Street, the best agent so far. Any info needed, just pm back.

Thanks Chris. Malaysia is easiest, but Vietnam/Cambodia er much shorter flights. But you are right. I wil probably go to KL then, just to be safe.

It would appear the O/P has a multi-entry visa already.

They need to exit/re-enter the country to activate another entry on it.

They are just wanna bounce out and back in by air is all.

Depending on your country of origin you might need a visa to get into Cambodia and Vietnam. Malaysia usually doesn't require a visa and you can just fly there in the morning and fly back in the afternoon by waiting in the transit area. Keep both your boarding passes because the passport control officer stamping you back into thailand is most likely gonna ask why you didn't stamp in and out of the country.

Awesome. Will do that, then. Thanks again.

, tell them your meeting was canceled ;)

You might have to book the tickets as two one way flights; BKK to KL and KL to BKK, because sometimes you can't book round trip with really tight time points.

I know quite a few people who've flown down, turned right around and come back to activate another entry on their visa.

That's what I thought. I hoped I could just stay in the transit area without going throug immigration. I also wanted to make it as quick as possible, so I can just catch the return flight asap.

guess KL is the safest option then. Thanks

If I have the boarding passes, that will usually not be a problem at Thai Immigration that I just flew out a couple of hours?
