Are you thinking it will be harder to get the DTV online than in person, so you said to get it done? My visa doesn’t expire until Feb, I planned to apply for DTV then.
One person, I think US citizen, posted a few days ago that he is self-employed. He wrote a letter and provided last years tax return. I believe he said it was accepted.
That would make no sense though, since it’s valid for 5 years. Why pay so much for a 5 year visa when you could just do 2 visa exempt entries with extensions and get 180 days for a lot less ฿?
So it costs ฿10k for 5 years, and must have ฿500k in a bank account, but it doesn’t have to be Thai account and doesn’t have to be for a specific length of time.
Visa for 5 years, can enter on day 1, get extension at 180 days for unknown cost. At end of year, do a quick trip to another country, start your second year in country. Does this sound right?
Most likely stopped at the border in case of bringing diseases in. I know you can’t take plants from Thailand to US without all kinds of certifications
