Paul Weinhardt Yeah I still think it’s based on the visa entry stamp type. Aren’t we technically “tourists” on these extensions ?

I understand it’s good for Tourist Visa and Visa Exempt. The question some of us have is - is the new clarification based on the visa you entered the Kingdom in on or will they look at your secondary visa. Example. Entered in on a tourist visa but had the ED visa for some time. When my Thai Partner read the announcement - it appears to reference the visa we entered in on originally. 🙏🏻

Yes each clarification begins with “the foreigner entering the Kingdom in on:”

I did change to an ED visa which was cancelled however when my partner (who is Thai) read it, it reads as “the visa you entered the Kingdom on.” Will be interesting to see with more updates.

maybe it will be like the proof of return flight. Asked in some and not an issue in other offices.
