If you use Wise don't forget to use the correct reason, which is something like "long term stay in Thailand" (someone will correct me with the correct wording), it was the last one on the list when I used it a while ago.

I don't know if it has changed in the 2 years since I did mine, but the site is very "clunky". The questions are badly worded and the format to upload documents was unclear. I managed it with a lot of perseverance and provided the same evidence several times. I remember a question about the ID of the person that invited me? I invited me, so I used my passport page again and it was approved, so don't be scared of attaching the same information several times.

The problem with your request is that a visa agent in Thailand cannot help you with it. If changing file formats is what you need help with, I would ask a friend or relative that is more computer literate to help instead of risking sharing your information with a stranger and wasting money.

you need to go to SETTINGS, then find change daily amounts, there should be one for TRANSFERS.

You pay by either transferring to their bank account using account number and sort code or if they have a QR code, just scan that.

I bought my car the way Stuart suggested. I had to increase the daily limit to cover the amount, but it worked with Bkk bank. Failing that, I think you can go into your bank and get some sort of payment mandate to cover the exact amount (apologies I don't know what it's called, it seems such an old fashioned method), but the bank will charge you for the service.

Yes you definitely need an appointment, but I can't see the link either. Somebody on here will have the link.

No need to use an agent, it is a simple process.

Using an agent ties you into using them every subsequent year, so it's a waste of your money.

It is easy to do online, so why not try that about 8 days before the due date. If it is not approved within a week you can then go to the IO in person.

I have had no problems with the online system, but I know others have.

Give it a try, you have nothing to lose.

Try to do it online if you are a week in advance of the due date.

I managed to open one 2 years ago, but I am seeing a lot of posts saying that it has changed now. Definitely give it a try, ask the bank what they require first. You might need to try several banks before you find one that is willing.

I tried many banks and different branches before being successful at the Bangkok Bank.

The agent fee for this task seems to be about 4 to 5,000 Baht if you need to. Everything else with the visa process is simply providing the evidence requested by immigration and attending on the correct dates, so need for an agent for that.

Good luck.
