TLDR : Answer Summary
In Hua Hin, it is generally accepted that you can apply for a Non-O visa extension 45 days before your current visa expires. This aligns with practices in various other Thai immigration offices, though some may only allow extensions 30 days before expiration. It is suggested to check local policies directly with the Hua Hin immigration office for the most accurate information.

Suggest that you read this Post which appears in the Hua Hin TOPIC

Chiang Mai, Bangkok, Buriram, Phuket, Chiang Rai and a couple other ones (Surat Thani/Samui maybe) all allow people to apply for extensions when they have 45 days or less left on their current stamp.

everyone else is 30 days

then I suggest you ask the Thai immigration office.

Most offices in Thailand accept one year extension of stay within 30 days of your ending date....

A few allow up to 45 days before the ending date.

Hua Hin is NOT among the few that accept the extension application 45 days early. From reports.

BUT with COVID they may have changed their policy.
