good plan. The system is a bit clunky, but it is not difficult to complete.When you get to Thailand ask again for someone in Udon who can help, be careful who you choose and pay after the service is completed.

excellent. If you have friends there, just ask them to help you, you then don't need an agent. If you have a visa opening a bank account is simple and then 2 months layer extending your stay for 12 months is also simple. You can ask here for more advice nearer the time. Good luck.Steven **********

Sorry for asking, but why don’t you just apply for a Non O visa before you go to Thailand?
It’s as simple as anything, just fill out the form electronically, upload your passport ID-page, take a photo and apply. You’ll probably have it in some days.

I’m from Udonthani , know many agents but never personally use any of them therefore don’t feel comfortable recommending any.
