Not sure if this information is relevant, but I thought maybe someone might find it helpful:

DTV Approved

15 days total, including 2 weekends and a US holiday

They asked for my bank statements twice, but that was the only hold up

Washington embassy (from Texas)

Bangkok Thai Cooking school 2-week program provided the letter I needed with a $500 deposit.

I am really confused about the "location" part of the visa application. I am currently traveling for 6 months, so do I put the location of where I actually am at this moment? I am not a resident in my current location, the only thing I can supply is my airbnb receipt. I am applying via Evisa, not in person. Also is is true you should not apply any more than 3 months in advance? I don't see how this would be relevant because the visa is not activated until when you arrive in Thailand, corret? Thanks in advance for any help!!

Hi. When applying to renew retirement visa what is the time scale? Should this be more than 2 weeks before it’s due or less than 2 weeks?

Hi All, so I have been back from my first Thailand now two weeks and already booked to go again in July two weeks ago. Next year I am wanting to go for 60 days and apply for the 60 day tourist visa. Is the best way to do this online? If so, when should I apply for it in time? For example, let's say I am aiming to go January 10th next year how long before this should I apply? Thank you for your help

Hello, looking for Visa advice. I am from the USA hoping to get a 60 day Tourist Visa that I can eventually extend for another 30 days after that. I am currently in the USA and worried my 60 day Tourist Visa would not be approved by the time of my ideal flight date into Thailand on December 3rd (I have not bought my flight yet as I am trying to figure out the visa). Does anyone know how long it takes? Or if I could come to Thailand and get a Visa Upon Arrival and then extend that or apply for a longer visa while in Thailand? My third, option is I fly into Indonesia before Thailand in a few days and could go to the Thai Embassy in person in Indonesia to try to get a 60 day Tourist Visa, if I could get this in time for my ideal flight date on Dec. 3rd?

Any / all advice is much appreciated🙏

I noted someone had applied for their tourist visa too early. After asking a question about trying to stay longer than 30 days with pre booked flights and accommodation I was advised by many to just get the tourist visa.

I applied straight away instead of waiting as I assumed with all of the flight and accommodation info supplied my visa would be when I needed it.

I was amazed to receive a call from the consulate in Canberra and was told they were sending everything back and to reapply nearer to my stay. It only cost me the 2 reply paid envelopes. I am applying again next month for a stay of 50 days starting late November.

What would your minimum timeframe be for sending your passport to Thai embassy in Sydney for visa sticker and get it back before your flight?

Don’t want to be stupid here.

Hi everyone!

Hoping to get some advice here. Looking to do the 90 day online visa from the US. I am in the middle of selling my house here to retire in Thailand. How do I manage the timing if I get approved the 90 day? Will it start the day I get approved or when I enter the country?

I really appreciate any help.
