one other thing John I forgot to mention if you have access to a printer, you can download the TM 7 form and have it filled out prior to going to the immigration office. Saves a little time.

I agree with you 100% it’s just that some of the people replying to the OP‘s post are completely forgot forgetting about the application for Extension and that’s the first document on every list that I’ve ever seen. I would mention one thing that my immigration office in Phichit does not require an up-to-date passbook copyy all they require is a letter from the bank stating I have met the time and amount requirements. But for sure the best place to get the proper answer to this question is at your local immigration office.

what about the TM7, the application for the extension. He already has a visa and he’s applying to extend it so the very first document every Immigration will require. Is the TM seven the application for Extension
Wayne ********
@Rok *******
since he’s been applying for an extension of his visa I would say the TM seven the Ext application would be the most important.

you shouldn’t need any documents at least I never have in my immigration office in Phichit. I turned in all of my documents when I applied for the one year extension and got the 30 day under consideration stamp. On 13 January when you show up again at the Immigration office you should just get your one year extension at that point you should also apply for a reentry permit if you have any plans on leaving the country.

the anxiety would kill me as well. I don’t know why the OP just doesn’t get an extension. He’s gonna have to pay ฿1000 fine. The extension is only 1900 so he’s only out 900 for the two extra days. Well worth it in my opinion.

I don’t know if this is true, but I thought I read in one of these groups that if you have an overstay from one country, it could be harmful for you going to another country

Flying to Krabi from Bangkok, my friend paid for his ticket with Vietjet. They refused him a boarding pass because the ticket name was not the same name as in his passport, he omitted his middle name when he purchased his ticket.

so why didn’t you mentioned that in your original response? Instead of making a blanket statement that the maximum single draw amount is 30 K Thai baht. Put yourself in the OP‘s position. He reads your answer and goes to a blue ATM and goes and finds out he can only draw 25K, then he goes to an SCB and tries and he can only withdraw 20 K. All I’m saying my friend is that your statement is very misleading because it makes it sound like you can go to any ATM and withdraw 30 K that’s all I have to say about the matter.
