TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the visa extension process in Thailand, specifically whether applying for a new extension before the current one ends will result in receiving a 30-day under consideration stamp. Responses indicate that the type of extension matters, with specifics provided for NON-B and NON-O categories. It's noted that extensions do not get renewed but rather are applied for anew each year.

for subsequent extensions on retirement it’s highly unlikely unless you’ve been rude to the immigration officer or given them some reason to be suspicious. Extensions based on marriage are a different story
With over 80 immigration offices around the country it’s impossible to know each of their own peculiar takes on certain rules etc. That’s why we usually tell people to go to their own office and find out the specific requirements for an extension from that office.
