Does the 'under consideration' stamp on my Thai visa act as a 30-day extension, and how is the duration of my one-year extension calculated?

Went to immigrations yesterday with my wife in Phichit . Submitted all the paperwork for my one year extension, and received my under consideration stamp. My 90 day visa expires on January 31. The immigration officer put a date of March 1 on my under consideration stamp. She said that the, under consideration stamp must be 30 days after the expiration of my visa. So I am assuming that the under consideration stamp is acting like a 30 day extension to my visa. Is that correct? One other question when my one year extension gets approved will it be one year from the date that I applied or one year from the date that it was approved?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user confirmed receiving an 'under consideration' stamp for their one-year visa extension application, which is noted to act as a 30-day extension beyond the expiration of their current visa. They inquired whether the one-year extension will be valid from the application date or the approval date, with a community member clarifying that the under consideration stamp often counts as the first month of the new extension, indicating that the one-year validity begins from the date their current visa expires.

The under consideration stamp at MOST offices is actually the first month of your new year extension (that's why it's added to the expiration date of your current stamp)..

When you go back to get the year inked in it'll be until Jan 31st 2025 (a year from when your 90 day Non-O stamp expires)
