Hi everyone

Just a quick question: I will be arriving in September. I'm staying about 20 days. I haven't been to Thailand since 2012. At immigration is it now the case that you have to say exactly where you are staying? I used to write on the form Bangkok or Ubon and was never questioned about it or asked for more details.

Please advise

Thanks in advance

Hi all

I'm going to extend my tourist visa at immigration in 2 days, but I don't have the TM6 (arrival/departure card).

How do I fix this?

TIA

I will be transferring long stay Visa stamps to a new passport. Question about flying out because the tm 30 and the arrival card is on the old passport. What about reentry permit, that would be on the new passport. How is that handled? I assume I use both passports for exiting Thailand. Thanks.

Is the white arrival and departure card, normally stapled in your passport upon arrival in Thailand, no longer being used ? Me and friends did not receive. This has never happened to me before. We are here on the 45 day visa exemption.

We will be applying for a 30-day visa extension to our 45-day visa exemptions received in mid-November at Bangkok international airport. We are Canadians and will apply in person at the Central Festival Immigration office in Chiang Mai. Question #1: For the very first time, we did NOT fill in a TM.6 arrival/departure card when arriving from Taipei on EVA Air. Is this going to be a problem when we apply for a visa extension? We have only the small date stamps for 45 visa exemption in our passports. Question #2: I have also heard that some tourists here are being asked for TM30 forms from their hotels. Any comment on that? Thanks.

Hi,

I'm about to do my 90-day report via the app (Immigration eServices), but ran into the following problem:

Providing the Arrival Card Number (TM6) is mandatory, however, I did not get the card when flying into Thailand - I remember it finally got canceled this year.

How did you report without this number? Is the only solution to report in person?

TIA!

Hi, I'm currently on a 5 year elite visa and will switch to extension of stay due to marriage once it runs out. Because of my work in the UK I've never been in the country long enough to do a 90 day report. Now it's possible I'll retire so no need to leave the country. My question is, do you have to keep presenting your Tm6 arrival card at every 90 day report? Does it ever become irrelevant?

Do you need to do a TM30 if you do a border bounce to get a 30-day visa exempt? My last visa was a tourist one and the TM30 was fine for it. I didn't get it updated because I didn't stay overnight in another country, just in and out. Residence and everything is the same.

Gday again,

I had a couple more questions from my previous post but I wasn't quick enough. Sorry to ask so many questions but here's 2 more.

Firstly, I'm flying back in on Sept 21 and flying back out 2 days later for a 10 day trip to Manila so basically my only day in Thailand I'll have to spend at immigration reporting for a 48 hour stay. Im' guessing that's correct ?

Secondly, I still work offshore so I travel in/out on a monthly basis. I was using METV but thought I'd do the right thing and get a Non O A. Now with all this reporting saga I'm regretting the new visa.

My question is Can I NOT use my Non O A by not putting a visa number on the TM6 arrival card and just come in Visa Exempt as I wont be in Thailand for more than 30 days at any given time ? I can see this becoming a real pain in the neck.

Thanks Steve

Some good news on the Immigration front. Our next 90 day report period coincided with the new office Chiang Mai immigration re-opening. Despite the relocation and only being open one week, they approved our 90 day reports online on the same day.

I’d also add that this was the first time using a different TM6 arrival card on the online application due to returning from our first overseas trip.

I’d encourage everyone in Chiang Mai to use this option which takes three minutes. It’s worked like a charm for my wife and I every time. We use Google Chrome BTW. Happy reporting!!
