No, it's inaccurate : actions designed to offend : certain actions, like vandalism targering a specific group or spreading malicious lies, are clearly intended to cause offence and harm; also : threats and harassment : deliberate acts meant to intimidate & cause hurt = forms of offence; breaking widely accepted social norms in a way that is disrespectful or hurtful can be offensive, even if the person claims they didn't mean to offend. There's an expectation of certain behaviors within a society (and if you don't want to comply, then get out).Deflecting responsibility and ignoring intent makes meaningful dialogue & accountability impossible. Then why participate on social media?!
