I tried to do volunteer work and denied as I don’t have a work permit. There was work to be done at our local village, paid work, that they couldn’t get enough people to volunteer, AND GET PAID. I wanted to help FOR FREE, and told I could not help because I would be taking work from others. Others they could not get 🥴🤣

I believe they request it be initiated 2wks before due date. Allows time for processing and confirmation it was accepted and processed

Is my visa still valid if I get a new passport while in the UK?

I had to renew a US passport mid Thai visa also. Upon arrival presented both passports. Had no issues with immigration.

A marriage outside the US does not need to be registered in the Us as long as all legally registered in the country in which the marriage was performed.

Can I register my TM30 after spending a weekend in a hotel outside Bangkok?

My wife and I leaving soon and returning late on a Friday. Checked with immigration if ok to come in on the following Monday, said no worries. Not open on weekends. Fingers crossed he keeps his words.
