Wanting to change from my retirement visa to marriage visa. I know it’s more difficult to obtain but tired of leaving 400THB in limbo. Married about 4yrsnow, not newly married.

What documentation required. I’m due for annual extension in mid April.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking to change from a retirement visa to a marriage visa due to the difficulties associated with the former and the desire to avoid unnecessary fees. They inquire about the necessary documentation for this transition, noting they have been married for about four years and are due for an annual visa extension in mid-April. Comments suggest that the process is similar to obtaining an extension based on age, but additional requirements such as financial proofs, marriage updates, and the wife's attendance may be necessary.

Just as easy to obtain as an extention for being over 50 years old. Just need to be married and deposit 400,000bt in your Thai bank account.

you’ll be changing the reason why you’re staying in Thailand. It’s easy, go to your local immigration office and ask them for the handout.
