Since I’m getting no response from our always so friendly US Consulate. My Thai wife has a current 10yr US visa in her soon expiring Thai passport. What is the procedure to transfer the visa to the new passport, or simply carry both passports upon next entry through US Immigration in the US?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The procedure for handling a US visa in an expiring passport involves either transferring the visa to a new passport or carrying both passports during entry into the US. Many commenters suggest the latter option of carrying both passports is sufficient.
