There is some great advice for you on your visa here. Be aware that if you’re out of the USA for over 183 days in a calendar year your wife’s green card is forfeited.

don’t think that is necessary. If you provide the name of a hotel with address you should be fine. Hotel owners are responsible for reporting you for tm30. Just come over and spend some money

All depends on who you get. Best to be prepared just in case then you’re covered

you were very lucky. Took us over six months to get my wife over and only happened that soon due to the fact I had to have emergency back reconstruction so she qualified for emergency visa. Had two us senators (one personally one staff) call the US embassy in bkk on her behalf. For us it was a long, hard very expensive undertaking. Have a friend who has been married over ten years to a Thai woman who has never been able to get a visa to take her to visit

Not an expert. Definitely would ask someone who knows. Rhys at Assist Thai Visa Services has been helping me out for years. Well worth his fees in my opinion and then I rest in peace knowing everything was done correctly.

Brought my “stuff” and wouldn’t do it any other way. It is a hassle but everything worked out and I got my tools, records, furnishings and everything else brought right to my home and delivered to the rooms and unpacked. Once the container reached Thailand a company called Boonma did everything and they were awesome. I didn’t initially contract with them but they took over here and I understand they can coordinate the whole process.

You will have so many people tell you don’t. While it is true you can get everything here it’s not the same. If what you’re bringing is high quality, bring it. Not so nice, easily replaceable. Depends what you have
