There will be no question of my Extension of Stay. It has already gone to Bkk Headquarters for review and came back Approved. I was sitting at the I/O's Desk the entire time - two visits. You are just very inexperienced and naive

Steven James Mason - Calm yourself Mr. Know It All .. They are in charge - I am not. I had no other choice - no feasible way to make a Border Run to get another 90 day stay. Borders were and still are closed. I saw nothing in the latest Amnesty that would allow me a way out. Easy for you to mouth off. I was facing waiting until this Amnesty runs out - then being forced to leave the country. I own a business here. I can't leave Thailand at the end of September - then have it take 3-4 months to get back at 100,000 Baht minimum costs. I sense you have no idea of the complications involved.

The B is for Business.. whether working for a company or owning a company (share holder and Director). The Work Permit from the Ministry of Labor allows one to work

- No I did not form my company under Amity. I bought an existing company with a new Thai Partner (while under a Retirement Extension of Stay). Then went to get a 90 day B Visa and soon thereafter got my Work Permit. (Actually a common route). Then the next year I decided to go to Penang and get a One Year Multi-Entry B Visa (not an Extension of Stay)... This required me to leave the Thailand on a Border Run every 90 days. Which I actually prefer.. Because I then never interact with Immigration.
