if they ask for the source of fund, is it a requirement that the fund must be transferred in “foreign currency” or it is also acceptable to transfer the fund in thai baht ?

the exchange rate is not a issue.. because I already convert to Thai baht at the best exchange rate in my home country bank year ago. That is the reason why I will remit thai baht to my Thai bank. But I just realized that they may need source of fund in foreign currency, and it make me worry about it.

After you submit all document and payment, you give them the passport, and you collect

The passport next day. When you collect the passport, the stamp is under consideration and need you to come back after 30 days ?

What are the differences between the Tourist Visa and the Special Tourist Visa (STV) for Thailand?

one reminder about STV. Once you used up all 270 days stay for STV, you cannot change to other type of visa in Thailand. Mean you need to leave Thailand. For tourist visa, after you used all visa and extension allowable days, you can change to other type of visa, eg non o marriage, retirement visa extension.
