Hello folks.
Just a quick question. I've got a reply via email from Thai insurance company, where they said that I need 2 kind of insurances in order to enter Thailand. I don't understand why do they say so, because the consulate's website clearly states that only 1 insurance needed. This is really confusing. Please, anyone who recently got an STV visa and could enter Thailand, would you please clarify this issue. Sorry in advance if this was asked before, I can't find information elsewhere.
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is confused about the insurance requirements for entering Thailand with an STV visa. They received a response from a Thai insurance company stating that two types of insurance are necessary, while the consulate's website indicates only one is needed. Several comments from other users clarify that for STV and OA OX visas, it is common to require both a general health insurance policy and a separate COVID-specific insurance policy. Others recommend consulting with a Thai visa agent for accurate information and guidance on insurance requirements.
