I had extended 90 days twice for my STV visa and the last extension will be expired by 25th this month.
I plan to apply the 60 days covid visa extension before my STV visa (total 270 days) finished this month.
As far as I understand that, STV visa cannot change to other type of visa without leaving Thailand. But for current scenario, if after I applied the 60 days covid visa extension, can I change the visa (60 days covid visa extension) to non O / retirement visa before the covid visa expired ?
TLDR : Answer Summary
The individual is inquiring whether it is possible to change from a 60-day Covid visa extension to a Non-O or retirement visa while remaining in Thailand after applying for the extension. Responses indicate uncertainty about the process, as it seems there have been no confirmed cases of such a change being accepted or formally rejected. Suggestions include applying for the extension based on COVID-related travel issues and considerations about land borders being closed.
