Don't know what you are trying to do but a DTV is not a replacement for a work permit. You cannot work a thai based job on DTV.

I think it will be interesting to see what happens with the soft DTV over time. It makes no sense to me to give someone a 5 year visa for a few medical procedures of for doing some meal thai classes for a few months to a year. I can understand giving the remote worker approval for 5 years and even that I am surprised they don't require milestones to verify you still meet eligibility. Time will tell.

I was replying to Michael Hay II. And he said that there is 90 days must travel by date. There is no such thing on DTV. I was making a clarification.

I agree with Kevin. I filed on Sept 11 at NY and received 2 days before my departure date.
