Thanks ! I want my return ticket to show the real date 3 months after arrival, but the initial stamp ( with or without visa) is for 60 days. Will this be a problem ? I can spend i little more money in the flight for a flexible fare and change it after i got the stamp.

If possible your opinion on this. Got the 60 day exempt and after 59 days will leave Thailand for 3 weeks back to my original EU country. But in August i plan to return for 3 months (this time using an extension). Would be safer to ask for a single entry visa for this second stay or i should be fine with a second exempt? I have a past of 2 month/year stays in Thailand for the last several years. Just this year i plan to be 5 months. Never done a border bounce and always have an onward ticket. Thanks !

Planning to be 5 months in Thailand in the next 6 months, first trip this month for 59 days, and the second 3 weeks after i left. Main plain is visa exemption for the first trip and exemption plus extension for the second (around 89 days). Before i leave i will try to contact my embassy asking if i should be ok with this or for the second trip a single entry visa would be more adequate. I will always have an onward ticket, for the second trip probably the best is an adjustable fare showing a 60 day return but adaptable to change after i ask for the extension. I hope all this goes well, i have no history of border bounces, usually 2 months a year in Thailand.

I am also going in May, leaving for some weeks in July and returning in August this time planning the 60+30. My idea is to use the METV already on the first trip. Seems more sensible and wise but i may be wrong...

My first stay will be around 60ndays without extension. The eventual problem is im my second trip ( August-November), when i need the 30 days extension....
