180 day stay on entry. Can extend once, each time, in country. (During the 5 years validity of the visa).

 visa has nothing to do with it. Speak to pet travel company for requirements. Remember if you leave you must take your dog with you.

My bank gives option of text, email, or call for verification. I don't receive texts when I'm overseas so can use email.

 those eligible for entering with NO visa was 30 days and is now 60 days NO visa. It's not a visa, never was!

 tourist visa has always been 60 days. What has changed is the exempt entry ( entering with no visa) which is now 60 days.

 perhaps they think it's a bad idea to falsify the application. Many will think it's ok, but misuse could eventually lead to rules being tightened.
