 not visa on arrival, don't follow those digs at airport! That's not for UK passport. You'll get Exempt Entry with no visa for 60 days.

 you applied for a visa at an embassy but on entry you didn't check they'd used it for your entry? Did you show them your visa, in case they were unaware?

Visa is issued and you must use it to enter before June 7th. You then get the 90 days duration of stay.

 not "hung up" on it. It makes a difference to accurate advice to say if you have a visa, NO visa, or are on a passport that receives visa on arrival of 15 days. You may prefer using the wrong words, that's up to you. No need to get angry and defensive.
