When I did my extension at my local office up north on Tuesday I asked about TM30s. The answer was if you travel in Thailand and return to your registered address you do not submit a new TM30. If you travel overseas and return with a re entry permit and return to your registered address then no requirement to submit a new TM30.
The online reports go to the office that you report to. It is then up to that office as how long they take. My local office is small and takes 3 to 5 days. I asked them last time I was in the office.
I just move house 2 months ago. I obtained a copy of his house book and id and did it myself. They also took a copy of my lease aggreement. It is the responcility of the landlond but in reality you do it.
I am retired. I have plenty of time on my hands. I do not mind travelling to my immigration office and do my extention and 90 day report. They get to know me and it is so easy. I live in the north and use a small office.
