I entered Thailand in January 2021 on visa exempt and got married to my Thai wife then I went and got an Non O retirement visa before the visa exempt expired

Why does people tell there banks they are moving to Thailand then complain because the bank is going to sit there account down ,use a relative address or good friend ,don't tell the bank anything if you plan to keep account active

Yes Turkey is one of the countries she can go to without a visa ,

It was £50 in 2021 when I did my one ,looks like they charged you wrong so gave you it all back

I did say that at the last sentence of my comment ,my stepson just did it last week at training centre ,1000 baht

You won't get a Thai motorcycle licence unless you have UK motorbike licence legally ,I had to show the DLT on my UK licence that I was allowed to drive motorbike and car as the classes of the vehicle you are allowed to drive on the back of UK licence ,take the motorbike test here in Thailand only 1000 baht to do and 2 days training

First came to Thailand in october 2012 after I left Iraq ,needed a holiday badly , come back year after year probably about 3 times a year until I bought a villa in Phuket in 2016 and moved here permanent even though I was working in Indonesia offshore rotation , met my Thai wife in 2018 and we got married in 2021in Bangkok Noi ,same year i got my retirement visa ,was on visa exempt before that easy with my work rotation

When I did my first 90 day report in Phuket ,you had to turn up in person with passport and TM- 30 or house blue book at Phuket town Immigration office ,after that can do online application

During Covid there was a hotel in Jakarta I did the 7 day quarantine and they took your passport at the airport and never got it back until you complete the 7 day quarantine,I complained to general manager and he wasn't interested,so contacted the British Embassy in Indonesia and they said it was the rules of the government
