You won't get a Thai motorcycle licence unless you have UK motorbike licence legally ,I had to show the DLT on my UK licence that I was allowed to drive motorbike and car as the classes of the vehicle you are allowed to drive on the back of UK licence ,take the motorbike test here in Thailand only 1000 baht to do and 2 days training

When I did my first 90 day report in Phuket ,you had to turn up in person with passport and TM- 30 or house blue book at Phuket town Immigration office ,after that can do online application
During Covid there was a hotel in Jakarta I did the 7 day quarantine and they took your passport at the airport and never got it back until you complete the 7 day quarantine,I complained to general manager and he wasn't interested,so contacted the British Embassy in Indonesia and they said it was the rules of the government
