Are the main Thai banks similar in handling documentation for international income for retirement or marriage visas?

The traditional Swift transfer from an account in your name to the Thai bank account in your name. KrungSri bank or any other work fine once you have a local account.

I suggest you open you Thai bank account at a location convenient to where you reside.
