I arrived in Thailand on the 21st September on a 60 day exempt and have a flight booked for Laos after 58 days where I’m staying for 9 days i then come back to Thailand and have another flight booked for Bali after 58 days, where I’ll be spending 10 days i then arrive back in Thailand beginning of February and have my flight booked home to the Netherlands end of March. My question is will I have any problems at immigration? I don’t expect to as I’m not doing any extensions to my 60 days and I’m going home within 6 months, to me this is just a holiday but would welcome views from people who know more than me concerning the re entering Thailand etc. I don’t really feel like applying for a retirement visa yet as I’m only going to be here for 6 months in a year. Hello, I have a visa question.

I am a US passport holder, currently on an ED Visa (learning thai language). It ends beginning of December. Am I allowed to leave the country for a few days and come back on a visa exempt or will I have issues at immigration since I have just been in the country for 12 months on an ED Visa?

How long does visa exempt last for these days? Still 60 days or have they changed it back to 30 days?

Does anyone have experience on this matter?

Hello everyone! I just would like to know how the DTV works, I got it is for 180 days, but didnt understand really well.

I got the DTV and got 180 days in the first arrival, stayed for a month and did a trip to Japan, when I cameback I got a new stamp with more 180 days.

I saw before it would need to leave the country every 180 days, but if everytime I go travel abroad I get new 180 days, how it works, will I need to renew something at immigration?

I really need help understanding the soft power DTV. On re entry to thailand, what happens if ive used all of the package for the muay thai? Do I have to re apply for a new package each time I enter, within my 5 years?

Or will one package work for the full 5 years. I really cant explain what I mean 😅

Hello everyone. 5 year DTV re-entry. Do you have to prove 500000 thb for every entry or just on application for DTV. These funds will deplete to pay rent etc.

I spoke with the Thai embassy near me and am quite confident I qualify for the DTV. It says multiple visits over 5 years and I'm curious how long you need to leave Thailand after the 360 days before returning.

It’s because the rules change so frequently, I’ve just spent 2 months in Thailand ( I’m from uk ) my holiday finished on the 22nd of may … how long is it before I can come again to Thailand ( 3 months this time ) … is it 6 month gap ???
