Do I need to file a new TM30 for my condo if I leave Thailand and return to the same address?

My covid visa expires 5 October. My condo lease expires 12th November. I intend to leave Thailand before the visa expires and come back in after a couple of weeks on visa exempt with the aim to get a Non O over 50. By leaving the country does the condo address I have on my current TM 30 become redundant making it necessary for me to file a fresh TM 30 for the same condo address when I return. I had some difficulty the first time getting the landlords details

TLDR : Answer Summary
The necessity of filing a new TM30 upon re-entering Thailand after leaving depends on the local immigration office's policies. Some offices require a new TM30 filing every time a person spends a night at a different location, while others may only require it if the individual has exited the country. It's advised to consult with the local immigration office for specific requirements and consider utilizing the online filing system for convenience.

If you've still got the details from previous filing would that not be good enough to file again should it be necessary?

That’s office dependent. Some require filing a new TM30 when re-entering the country, but others say no need if returning to the same address. Do yourself a favour and sign up for the online system (or get your landlord to). Once you have a username and password it takes about 3 minutes to file.

You need to ask your local immigration what their policy is. They all have different requirements. Some want you to file a new TM30 every time you spend 1 night somewhere else because you're legally required to have a TM30 filed for that place you spent the night so you need to report that you're back home.

Some offices only require you to file a new TM30 if you left the country.

Some don't require a new one either way as long as your return to the same address.

You have to ask, and they change their policy from time to time so you need to ask at least once a year.

Actually have done TM30 countless times from same location.

last time I was in Bangkok they didn't want a new TM30 if you traveled inside Thailand, but did if you left the country. But that was over a year ago.
