In case you like staying there, the TM30 has nothing to do with your immigration status. It's just the Thai way to know where you live - or make you feel uncomfortable for as long as you are in Thailand...
You can hire a lawyer in Thailand for around 10k Baht to make sure you get the visa if you meet the requirements (which will be checked first). I already can see the comments on how it's a ripoff and not possible because it's an embassy outside Thailand bla bla bla - guys please, not everyone depends on 10k Baht for their survival...
The 90 day reporting is so clean and effortless! Every time I see those Immigration officers, they make my stay in Thailand truly worth it! I wish I could do it every month. I love to see them, and talk to them, possibly toss it under the table, yeah.. I love doing it 4x a year! It enhances my appreciation for Thailand. It's amazing.
