You are GONNA pay! I shipped a Harley jumper to a Thai friend, I put the value at what it cost, equal to 1000 Baht, when the person got the package 📦 the Customs 🛃 Service put 860 baht duty on it and would not release the package from the Post Office till duty was paid.
You may get VERY lucky as I had no issue from 2012 to 2019… but things have definitely changed.
If you want your clothing items badly, expect to pay Customs Import Tax even if they are YOUR own property. TIT.
If you plan to teach English in a school in Thailand then you need to obtain a work visa in that arena you need a relevant teaching degree; TEFL or some similar course won’t cut it. I would focus more on the DTV as it allows you more flexibility and a lot easier in your stated situation.
simply put, if you have sold up your life and moved permanently to Thailand then YES, it has become YOUR country by choice and your attitude supporting trying to RORT the Visa System to the extent this person has is telling. Your opinion is just that, YOURS, you are entitled to it, doesn’t make it right.

It is to assist people that want to obtain a visa for legitimate purposes, not RORT or circumvent the Thai visa and immigration laws.
This particular individual has openly admitted that they have been taking the piss and now they want to find a way round their situation they have brought upon themselves, that is the reason people here are expressing their disdain and contempt for such individuals.
We all are affected by such individuals GAMING the system and more than likely others who abuse the system or behave poorly when in the Kingdom is the reason that the 60 day Visa Exempt is looking like it is going to be repealed.
There is no definitive answer for this scenario, why??? Because your ability to enter Thailand on any given day is at the SOLE DISCRETION of the Immigration Officer you stand in front of at the Arrival Hall of whatever city you arrive at.
My personal experience last year was 3 entries with 1 being 28 days which was prior to the 60 day visa exempt.
On each of the 2 subsequent 60 day visa exempt entries I stayed 6 weeks and 5 weeks and I was aware I may have been turned back on the last occasion which was November 2024 to December.
Hire a bike for a few days and head off down past Rayong and explore the coastal areas if you want an unplug from Pattaya and what it is, you can take a boat to Koh Samet from Rayong.

You can be lucky or not, the IO can look at your passport and work out what you have been doing easy enough and decide to flag you and not allow you re-entry.
I personally was in Thailand 3 times last year, 1st time was for a month and left, came back mid year stayed for 6 weeks and then back end of year for 5 weeks, was mindful that I may have been pushing my chances, but then again I was not staying for maximum visa exempt period.
