TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion centers around concerns regarding re-entry for holders of the Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) in Thailand, particularly about the safety of two airports in Bangkok: Suvarnabhumi (BKK) and Don Mueang (DMK). Responses suggest that both airports are generally safe for DTV holders, emphasizing that there is little to fear as long as the visa is valid and all paperwork is in order. Many commenters share personal experiences of smooth re-entries without significant issues, noting that confidence, politeness, and preparedness are key factors in passing through immigration. Some mention specific preferences for BKK while others report positive experiences with DMK.

NO airport and all the airports, if you have nothing to hide and able to answer there question honestly then trust me you are fine.....unless some IO is just in a bad mood and still will just give you had time but will let you in.....

Just entered through DMK an hour ago. Was asked a bunch of questions but in the end got stamped. Just have everything prepared. Be confident but also polite

When they ask how long you’re staying don’t say months. It’s when people look like they moved in that seem to get bothered. Even if you did move in. I’d always say “a few weeks”

Border run bribes and fast track service sales have dropped since digital nomads don't have to do border runs anymore. You're right to be scared for trying to DIY re-entry: 'risk' of random harassment is now bigger than ever. Of course nothing to do with money. 💰

What are you scared of if you have the visa? There's literally nothing to be afraid of unless you did something wrong or fraudulent then you should be scared.

Smoking indica doesn't have the same paranoia effect as sativa

Go to Suvarnabhumi, try to get there during the day when it’s busy and they just want to get people through the line, try to find a lady that looks kind of sweet and kind, there’s a lot of them. Try to stay away from the guys some look just super angry and you could get the wrong one who just wants to flex.

Entered twice at bbk no questions quick and easy

Scared🤔 The worse that can happen is you get sent to The Bangkok Hilton for a few years (old misdemeanors, serial overstayer, criminal record)🤣 if none of those, welcome to the land of smiles 😁

You don't need to be scared about anything, you already have the visa, just have it printed out. You might find different immigration officers ask different kinds of questions, but has nothing to do with the airport. Someone said dress nicely, look confident, that is nonsense, you can wear what you want

Having a visa does not guarantee anything. It all depends on the officer. Only he decides whether to let you into the country or not.

Carry a printed copy of Evisa

BKK is better.

There is nothing to be scared of. It’s a multi entry visa. Immigration want you to leave the country! The more you leave the better. As long as you applied for your visa correctly with nothing fraudulent on there, then you should have nothing to be scared of 😊 I would not worry about which airport is safer, instead just base your flights from convenience instead.

Any specific reason you're scared about re-entry?

Safer? What are you talking about? I've been out in in five times since I've had the DTV. Never once felt "unsafe"

I would say both are safe? I entered in bkk yesterday, no questions asked.
