I went Into the immigration talk to a person there who said that I have nothing to worry about and I can just use it in next time I go out and come back in I just explain it to the officer what happened

okay- that's fine. If I understand correctly when I come back from my first trip out, I can extend 30 days for a fee and also after my second trip, again for a fee. That will give me plenty of days to make my booked flight? (Just gotta say this is such a great helpful site- what would we do without it! Great service guys!)

oh crap- I guess I'll have to change my return flight!😢😣. Or can I extend again for 30 days? at the end of 6 months? My exit was planned for May 27...

Here is what I found on the Thai consulate webpage in Vancouver; “Multiple-Entry (METV):

Passport or travel document with validity not less than 6 months. The passport must be valid for travelling to Thailand.

Visa application form completely filled out for each passport

One recent official passport photograph of the applicant taken within six months of application

An applicant has a permanent resident/a permit of stay in Canada

A copy of a bank statement showing a deposit of the amount equal to no less than 200,000 (Baht) per person or 400,000 (Baht) per family

A copy of round-trip ticket or itinerary for at least the first trip

A copy of hotel reservation for at least the first trip”
