but it would mean the Thai economy is kaput so I'm happy with 45 baht and the thai people being able to eat and live, many are really struggling now as prices of basics go up every day, virtually. I can't figure why everything has to go up in multiples of 5 and 10 baht, a 5 baht increase on a 25 baht coffee is 20%, which is driving inflation and unaffordable to Thai's and inconvenient to Farang. According to the Thai news, rising prices are stopping tourists coming here, instead going to Cambodia and Laos. Why not put up by 1 or 2 baht if they have to ? Is it because they don't want multiple small coins in circulation? Sorry rant over.
