2. DOES LETTER HAVE TO COVER WHAT PERIOD OF TIME OR IS IT JUST A DATED LETTER? DOES THIS LETTER HAVE TO BE DATED SAME DAY AS APPLICATION OR CAN IT BÈ 1 WEEK OR XDAYS BEFORE APPLICATION
3. DOES STATEMENT AND LETTER HAVE TO BE DATED SAME DAY AS APPLICATION?
4. DOES BANK BOOK HAVE TO SHOW DEPOSIT TRANSACTION ON DAY OF APPLICATION OR DAY BEFORE APPLICATION OR WHEN?
Hi Stuart, fountain of knowledge or anyone who can answer please. Going to renew non o visa at Jomtiem. I will get statement from bank 1 or 2 days before I go is this acceptable? I will get statement how far back does it have to show please? I will get letter from bank how far back can it be dated, the same day I go to immigration or before please? Does letter and statement have to cover a 6 or 12 mnth period.? I will pay in 100 baht and update bank book same date as letter or statement or day I apply at immigration? The queue shuts at 11 so can't get statement, letter or update passbook on same day. Is it acceptable I update passbook the same day as letter, bank statement or day before I go to immigration please? Thanks
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking clarification on the requirements to renew a Non-O visa in Jomtien, specifically regarding the validity and date of bank statements and letters required for the visa application. Questions include how far back the bank statements should go, if the letter from the bank must be dated the same day as the application, and whether the bank book needs to reflect transactions made on the day of application. Responses from other users suggest that the statement should ideally cover a 12-month period, the bank letter can be dated up to a week before the application, and the bank book must show the balance as of the day of application.
