Hello. I need to go to UK at short notice. Where can I get exit re-entry visa at Suvanerbhumi Airport please ? Is it after I drop my bags and get ticket or is it before I get passport stamped at immigration. Please tell me the exact location at the airport please where I can find the desk if there is one. Thanks very much.

TLDR : Answer Summary
To obtain an exit re-entry visa at Suvarnabhumi Airport, you should look for the re-entry visa desk located in the International Departures area, specifically in Departures 2. After you check in and pass through security, before you reach the Immigration passport control, turn to your right; the desk is about 6 meters ahead. It operates 24/7, and if you encounter any issues, you can seek help from an immigration officer nearby. The fee for a standard re-entry visa is 1200 THB.

It can be done at Jomtien imigration as well

Intl Departures 2 after security check when you go down the escalator to passport control turn right you will see the sign re entry visa. If you use Intl Departures 1 you get stamped out and tell them you need re entry visa they will make you walk to Intl Departures 2 and get it. The latter is after passport control. So don’t worry either way is fine, I’ve done both.

yes, it’s first step before the immigration file

It is in the section "Departure 2" after the security check, but still before the Immigration desks. The booth is manned

, should there be nobody, kindly inform an immigration officer. A not beforehand prepared single re-entry is 1200.- THB

exactly, and this is not upstairs but on the same level as the Immigration passport check. You will already have passed the security scans which are upstairs (!!), have walked back downstairs and then end up just before the immigration booths

thank you I am now very confused please confirm. So I check in go through security on same level then where is this desk please?

@Barry *******
Business class and handicapped passengers will pass security downstairs, and then will reach the same level where the re-entry desk is located. However Economy passengers will have to use the escalators to upstairs first, pass the security scan, then walk downstairs to the level where the re-entry desk is (and immigration booths)

this is .y first time leaving bkk so I need to be sure. So I check in at airline desk. Then I go up escalator for bag security check. Then i go down escalator for passport check. Is the re -entry desk on this level before i go through passport control?

@Barry *******
yepp, exactly. The re-entry desk is just 6 meters before the Immigration passport check. You haven't exited Thailand yet, at this point

at the base of the stairs coming from the security scans upstairs, you turn right, and then the re-entry desk is right ahead of yours. You cannot miss it
