I see, thanks. My preference would be to apply for a single-entry tourist visa, return to Thailand for about 40 days, and then apply for the DTV. But as you mentioned, that seems riskier than going directly for the DTV.

I see, thanks. I currently have two options. My preferred plan is to apply for a single-entry tourist visa and return to Thailand one more time. I would stay for about 40 days and will have an outbound air ticket as well. After that, I plan to leave and apply for DTV. Would I be likely to face any issues re-entering Thailand on a tourist visa under this plan?

Alternatively, I could leave this time and apply directly for the DTV visa, but that’s not my preferred option due to personal circumstances.
