"My type" is all there is outside the USA. "Your type" can only survive in an information bubble fuelled by social media and Fox - travelling outside the US and talking to people outside the bubble tends to cause a rapid expansion of awareness of just how limited the "news" inside the US really is.

Are you SERIOUSLY considering taking someone who looks Asian into the US right now? Even CITIZENS who look Asian are swept up, questioned, and kept in awful conditions for days until their families can get lawyers to get them released.

Why would you want to expose someone you love to that kind of environment of constant fear and tension?

If your landlord rents out 5 or more dwellings, they are now required to charge you only the government rate without any markup.

You could ask your landlord what they plan to do about the new law as a polite way of starting the conversation. Of course they will want to make a new lease that matches the new law, right? ...

The govt rate is just over 5 per unit if there are more than 4 houses on the one bill.

The government rate is just over 5 per unit. You can ask to see your landlord's bill and see for yourself.

If you are working online for on overseas company on a DTV, that is not "working within Thailand". You are not allowed to have a THAI job, working for a Thai employer, being paid in Thai currency to a Thai bank account, unless all the regulatory boxes are ticked.
