single, but the principle is the same. They want booked accommodation, so I gave it to them, then cancelled it. If I had been going for a multiple, then I would’ve booked another for the dates I was entering Thailand the second time.

I recently got a single entry tourist visa, but showed a booking for 60 days. I don’t actually need a hotel at all so I used one from Agoda with free cancellation. It worked fine.

I applied for mine recently (London embassy). It took three days.

I got my single entry TV yesterday without having to show any financial evidence at all.

Previously they’d asked for bank statements, payslips and all kinds of nonsense.

Flights and accommodation only this time.

Visa exempt you might get questioned by the airline. With a visa it’s unlikely but always worth checking with them first.

there are a few different types of Non-O for different reasons. You can see the criteria on the Thai embassy websites.

he has a Non-O. Unlike a tourist visa, this type of visa gets a 90 day stamp on each entry.

Next bounce you might consider flying from Phuket to KL. There’s a morning flight and an evening return. Costs about the same and gives you a day in KL plus, if you get the wrong stamp on the way back you can fix it in Phuket. Has to be better than sitting in a van all day.

The airline you use from France may want to see confirmed flight out of Thailand within 30 days (as that is how long you’ll be stamped in for on arrival) if you have flights booked to Vietnam, or any other country, within that time frame, just show them when checking in in Paris.
