yes. I got there at 8am. Doors open at 8.30 make sure you have all your paperwork in order, I’d go 2 weeks before your leaving date just incase you haven’t got the paperwork correct, there’s ladies at a desk to check all is ok BEFORE your given a ticket there is also a photo copping shop at the immigration, good luck

from where your staying. I’m on koh Samui, the immigration office was 10 mins drive. Got there early before they opened

Date of expiration, I did it 3 weeks ago BUT don’t go to the immigration until 2 weeks from the date your supposed to leave. I was early and sent away !

Can I apply for a visa extension at the Thai embassy in the UK before traveling to Thailand?

Just get a 60 day tourist visa from the embassy, you can then extend your stay by a another 30 days by applying at the immigration office where your staying giving you 90 days in Thailand
