lucky, normally at least a rental agreement required as you can get a TM30 by staying in a hotel.

Just ask them for their exact requirements in writing. Do it and go back to the same branch

What should I do if I've lost my passport and can't extend my Thai visa before it expires?

Annoying but you have proof of the visa etc all at immigration. Go back to them and ask for copies if you don’t have them and then go to the embassy who should be able to sort this and save you returning. After all they are there to represent the British people in Thailand.
