it depends on the price difference AND I don't hear foriegners complaining about our 3x 4x salaries so I don't have too much of a problem with this. Also, if like me, you have a thai wife or gf just let them do the shopping book the hotels etc. My local hospital charges 15k for foriegners to have a full medical but now they know I live here and have a thai wife I get thai rates
I thought zi had to wait until a week before it expires. I will be staying with my wife at our apartment (rented in her name) in BKK before heading to our home outside.
So many people aren't reading my post. I applied more than a month ago in China and still have not received my e-visa and no response from the embassy. I know I can get a 30 day visa exempt and then a 30 day extension BUT my question was is an an alternative as I won't be staying in BKK and it will be a 2 day trip to go back and get an extension (BKK is the nearest immigration to where I'm staying). So I was hoping to get a

day visa in BKK on my arrival instead. However it seems the only option will be to do the extension.
