How Can I Apply for a 60 Day Non-O Visa While in Thailand Without My Birth Certificate?

Hi, I'm current on a 30 VOA which expires on Sat 07/03 so I plan to go to Immigration Chang Wattana on Fri for a 60 day non-O (I'm staying with my wife here) as I'm unable to return to China for work. I need to print a Visa Application form but I cannot find one on their site. Does anyone have a link to one?

Also on their website it says I need my Birth Certificate, however this is in China. Can I apply without it?

Many thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user, currently on a 30-day Visa Exempt Entry in Thailand, is seeking guidance on applying for a 60-day Non-O Visa to stay with their Thai wife. They express concerns about the required documentation, particularly the need for a birth certificate, which they cannot provide as it is in China. Community members offer advice on the necessary forms and state that the birth certificate is not required for the application. The user seeks a link to the visa application form, as they are unable to find it on the immigration website.

I've looked on the website already hence my confusion. I cannot visit immigration because I'm outside Bankok now. What form do I need to complete and can I print one? I cannot find any printable forms on the website.

Bangkok Immigration is always busy. Do not worry, you have plenty of time to fill in the application form while waitin for your turn.

You do not need a birth certificate to apply for an Extension of Stay.

If you want to know what is needed best is to visit the Immigration Office and ask the hand out with requirements.

if you stay with your wife and I have to assume you mean that your wife has the Thai Nationality, you can get an Extension of Stay based on visiting family for 60 days.

Just for information and show the difference:

The stamp you have is called a 30 day Visa Exempt Entry, not a Visa on Arrival. Visa on Arrival is only for 15 days and looks completely different:

How about the 30 days extension of stay ?

For 30 days extension You need ONLY:

-passport

-copy of passport front page

-copy of stamp/visa page

-copy of TM6 form

-filled TM7 form

-two photos

-1,900 Thai baht

You DON’T need to fill TM30/TM28
