Hi there,

I've been living in Thailand for 15 yrs with a WP and visa however I've recently been offered a great opportunity teaching in China, as a result I have left my teaching job in Thailand and waiting on my z visa. In the meantime, due to my visa and WP being cancelled I'm off to get a 14 day tourist visa.

However I have a Thai wife so I will be returning to Thailand frequently particularly as the city I'm working in is only a 2-3 hour flight from Bangkok.

So, my question is can I obtain a one year multi entry visa before I leave and if so where from?

If not what is my best option?

If I fly to Thailand frequently, sometimes for just an extended weekend or for my winter and summer holidays, can I get a visa on entry and will I be limited to how many times I enter the country?

Many thanks in advance for any help or advice you can give me.
