we use surfshark, and on the fire stick there's an app for it , just installed it and logged in, first time ever we been able to watch SBS, and Aussie TV channel

fire stick is better, as Chromecast doesn't like adding additional WiFi settings, also fire stick you add a VPN app easily to it

we take only about 4000THB, enough to get throughput first day then bring cash and exchange there, rates much better there, airport excluded
