Gosh, I did not mean to get anyones knickers twisted by pointing out that "if you do things correctly, it's a doddle" is not actually the determining factor for a smooth experience, although it is certainly useful. Actually I had never heard the word doddle previously and it amused me to contrast it with the word dingleberry.
I am actually a little confused by what this means. I have a one-year extension of a non B Visa. I wonder if it means that when I apply for the 5 year license renewal, because there's less than one year left on the extension, I will only get a two year license.
It's crazy that they don't tell you what was wrong. I know lots of people defend them for rejecting applications on technicalities, not telling why they are rejected, and keeping the money. I think those people are crazy too.
I'm referring to the fact that people applying for tourist visas or pretty much any kind of visa to the USA are often rejected with no explanation after having paid the fees.
